Aurora Club

Greetings from the east bank. Aurora Club suits travellers who want a clean, newer-feeling venue that stays open until 02:00, and who are happy to pay a little more for it: its rate card has three 75-minute tiers at ฿2,000, ฿2,400 and ฿2,800. Reviewers regularly mention clean rooms and a smart set-up. It holds a 4.6 Google rating from 234 reviews, though many of the five-star reviews are very short and generic. Skip it if you dislike upselling: most of the detailed negative reviews describe pressure to pay more once you're inside, and one says a 75-minute session ended after 50. Agree the full price, including any extras, before you go through.

Aurora Club is listed at 143/9 Moo 7, Mueang Chiang Mai, in the Tha Sala and Nong Hoi area east of the Ping River. It has no website, so the details come from its Google Maps listing and reviews. There's no street name in the address, so use the map pin.

One reviewer praises the choice of therapists, and several mention that the shop and rooms are clean and new, and one singles out the rooms for praise. A four-star reviewer sums it up as clean and worth trying once, provided you agree the services and any extra charges in advance.

The rate card has three tiers, all 75 minutes:

• Half service (B2B massage + happy ending, with add-on): Standard tier 75 min: ฿2,000
• Half service (B2B massage + happy ending, with add-on): Plus tier 75 min: ฿2,400
• Half service (B2B massage + happy ending, with add-on): Premium tier 75 min: ฿2,800

What separates the tiers isn't published, and neither is the price of the add-on. Two reviewers say it's more expensive than other places, and three describe being asked for more money during the session, in one case ฿5,000 on top of a ฿2,800 payment. Settle the total, and what it covers, before you start.

No booking channel, payment method or language list is published; one reviewer even asked in their review for a LINE or KakaoTalk contact.

Tha Sala and Nong Hoi sit east of the Ping River, away from the Old City and the Night Bazaar. Chiang Mai has no metro, so a Grab is the simplest way to get there, especially late at night; tuk-tuks and scooters work too. It's open every day from 11:00 to 02:00. One reviewer says it's worth the trip. For more options across town, see our Chiang Mai guide.

Night owls with a healthy budget who value a clean, modern room and don't mind negotiating firmly at the start. It's less suited to first-timers, anyone on a tight budget, or anyone who wants a simple, fixed price with no extras. Aurora Club holds a 4.6 Google rating from 234 reviews, but the reviews read in two very different ways. Most are short five-star notes saying the service was good or excellent, and several mention a clean shop and nice rooms. A number of these are oddly generic, so give them less weight.

The detailed reviews are more critical. Two reviewers say it's pricier than other places, and the most consistent complaint is upselling: one reviewer says they were asked for another ฿5,000 after paying ฿2,800, another calls it a money trap with staff focused on tips and add-ons, and a four-star reviewer advises agreeing extra charges in advance. One reviewer says a 75-minute session ended after 50 minutes, and another describes rude, untrained staff. A balanced reading: a clean, late venue where you should fix the price at the door.
