Harem Massage and Spa

Greetings from Pa Daet. Harem Massage and Spa is one for the curious rather than the planner. Its Google hours run from 10:00 to midnight every day, and it turns up in searches for soapy massage (อาบอบนวด), but that is close to all that's published: no rate card, no website, no phone. Its 3.9 Google rating from 16 reviews is middling, and most of the written reviews are several years old. It may suit someone already nearby who is happy to ask prices at the door. Anyone who wants to know the cost, the menu or recent feedback before setting out should look at our Chiang Mai city guide first.

Harem Massage and Spa is listed in Pa Daet Sub-district, Mueang Chiang Mai. It's matched by searches for soapy massage, the Thai bath-house style of massage, but it publishes no menu, no prices and no description of its rooms or services. Payment methods, languages and booking channels aren't listed either, and there's no phone number to call ahead.

In practice that means you agree everything in person: the price, the session length and what's included. Ask before you start.

Hours: daily 10:00 to midnight (00:00), per Google.

There's no street address, only a Google plus code: QX6R+PXF, Pa Daet, Mueang Chiang Mai 50100. Paste that code into Google Maps or Grab to get a pin. Chiang Mai has no metro, so Grab or a scooter is the realistic way to reach it; a red songthaew driver may not know a plus code, so show the pin on your phone.

Travellers already in the Pa Daet area who don't mind turning up without a price list. Everyone else will find more information, and more recent reviews, among the shops in our Chiang Mai guide. Wish you were here, but do bring questions.

Harem Massage and Spa holds a 3.9 Google rating from 16 reviews, and the written ones span many years, with the newest about two years old. The positive notes are brief and mostly about people: reviewers mention lovely, friendly staff, being well looked after and a nice, straightforward place. On the massage itself, opinions are more muted, with comments such as fine but not great.

The complaints focus on staff attitude and being hurried: one low review describes a therapist urging the customer to finish quickly, and an older one notes that only one therapist was on duty when they called in. With so few recent reviews, treat any of this as background rather than a current picture.
